These are the stars that used to proclaim,
"Our light, pure light, we'll keep your way"
But instead, they hide, squirm in the sky
Making me fight to find my way.

This is the wind that used to whisper,
"All your worries are nil, there's no need to fear"
But it's silent now, gone to guide someone else
Someone more worth the breath.

Those are the leaves that used to beckon,
"Play with us, little one, forget all your cares"
But they've left me now, bored of me
And I've been left alone and confused.

That's the moon that used to say,
"Reach for me, there's no easier goal"
But it danced away from my naive hand
And my dreams have long since scattered.

And this the Storm that's calling me now,
"I'll keep you safe, my dear, I'll love you forever"
And for a while I worry, But what if he's lying?
What if he's just like the others?

I wonder and ponder, and finally think,
I can forget the stars that denied me their light.
I can forget the wind that's since gone quiet.
I can ignore the leaves that once ignored me.
I can reach for the moon with my Storm by my side.
Just a random peom, nothing fancy. It came out of the first line, and turned into a repeating verse with the other however many, lol.
