Carry Me Away - Chapter 9A soft nudging woke me. I opened my eyes to see that I was alone, and it was one of Ruach's wing claws that had stirred me. I sat up to further notice that Zekrom was gone now, along with N. Sensing my coming question, Ruach's voice entered my head.N wished to get a feel for the city. He said you should go on your own until the sun begins to drown, and to meet him here when the water fully takes it.I nodded slowly and stood, Ruach pulling her wing up to give me the room to do so. "Would you like to stay out for the day? I'm sure nothing will happen..." But even as I spoke, Ruach shook her white head.No mistress, I will not leave you unattended, no matter the reason nor the proximity.I sighed. "Ruach, you deserve to-"The fire dragoness' voice came sharp into my mind now. I have charged myself to protect you, Touko. I do so at the sacrifice of my personal freedom; at my own choice. You are a kind and gentle trainer, and I know I have made the right choice for my cho
Carry Me Away - Chapter 8With the path Paula was taking, it might have been smarter to keep Vicegrip out. Where the little Audino easily slipped under bramble bushes, I had to hedge the bet that I wouldn't make it over them and find ways around them. I wove around bushes and saplings with a flexibility that shouldn't really have been natural, trying to keep up. I was way happier than I should have been when I finally caught sight of N.As I stumbled into the clearing, N turned to me, relief drawn on his face. "You were right," He said. "Paula did hear me."I quickly checked to make sure my clothes were still okay and responded. "Yes, that's kind of an Audino's specialty."N looked at me for a moment. "Did you see anything

Carry Me Away - Chapter 7As it turns out, Houndour and Fireflash became fast friends. The two fire-types were bonded like siblings within an hour. Eventually, we had to take them outside before they could start spewing flames and cause real damage. N fed them while I released the rest of our Pokémon to offer food up to them, as well, careful to keep them distanced so as to avoid the Distortion World breaking loose. As everyone finished, we took the time to give everyone some much needed attention. It was absolutely amazing to spend quality time with my teammates. Even though we weren't in Unova, we were together- that's all that mattered. Even in this foreign land, miles from everything we knew so well, we were okay.It was so hard to believe how far we'd come. I only had seven Pokémon- I wanted to keep as strong a bond with them as possible. (I like to believe that little plan worked out quite well) Terrath, of course, was there to see it all- he started it all. Lilliput, a Lillipup, was the first P
