A quiet ride
We don't even notice
As rain falls outside
My head against his shoulder
My hand longing for his
I don't go that far
I'm content with this
Each time he talks
I smile just a bit
My eyes close lightly
But my mind doesn't drift
I relax in the moment
He probably thinks I'm out
But that's where he's wrong
I'm sitting here only guessing
Where our time has gone
I wonder if he knows
How he makes my heart reel
And I just begin to wonder
How I make him feel

Love and LuckWhat does the world have against us?
Why do they try to keep us apart?
It's killing us both.
We're not bad kids.
We didn't try to get so close.
It was just natural.
Is that so wrong?
Were we doomed from the start?
Maybe we aren't meant for each other.
But no, we won't believe that.
Maybe the world needs time.
Maybe they need to realize,
And maybe we do to:
That maybe love and luck just go hand in hand.
